About the Practice
Allan Sweet’s job is to take a very complex set of rules and laws, apply them to your situation, explains options, and helps you execute your plan. He has had family members face long-term care and knows firsthand how stressful, complicated and overwhelming life became with a loved one needing more help than we could provide.
Allan is an estate planning and elder law attorney helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of Medicaid planning, preparation of wills and trusts, and the administration of estates.
He helps his aging clients by working with them to navigate the maze of public benefits to position them to be able to receive necessary care while generally preserving assets for a spouse, children, family, or charities.
He works with clients preparing key documents such as wills, powers of attorney, advance directives, and, when appropriate documents to name guardians.
