NAELA offers private attorney members an online profile that is visible to the public looking for an attorney. When you join, your individual information also will automatically appear electronically in the NAELA member directory with your name, firm name, and contact information provided including your website and email.
As an added benefit, NAELA provides members the option to enhance their online member profile. Details below will help you customize your profile to include:
- Demographic information (education, languages spoken, other states in which you are licensed to practice law) - free of charge
- A brief biography or firm description - free of charge
- A photo - free of charge
- Additional office locations so they appear in city or zip code searches - add now or download application
- An option to stand out by showcasing your legal expertise on the online member directory - add now - or download application
How to Update Your Contact Information and Add a Photo or Description of Your Firm Including Demographic Information
1. Log onto the NAELA website.
2. Click on your name personalized at the very top of the webpage.
3. After the page refreshes, you will land on your main profile page where you can edit your password, update your profile, or even pay an invoice. There are hyperlinked prompts to manage components of your profile. Click on “Manage Your Profile” to add/update your photo, email, or website address or other contact information.
4. To add/change a photo, click on the little pencil icon (circled in image below in red). (Allowed file formats are .GIF, .JPG, .PNG, and .BMP. The maximum file size allowed is 1 MB). 
5. To add information about your practice or demographic information, click on the small pencil icon (circled in red below), and when the page is refreshed, complete your information or select from the drop down menus for that area.
