Advance Directives and Requests For A Family Meeting (2017)
The session will deal with the issues surrounding end of life decision-making. It will explore whether elder law attorneys should offer and facilitate family meetings to discuss the client’s wishes surrounding end of life decisions. The presenters and participants will discuss appropriate education and background necessary to fully discuss the appropriate considerations in developing and advising clients on living wills, medical powers of attorney and other advance directives.
