NAELA Supports Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month
Association for Elder and Special Needs Law Attorneys supports Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month this March.
Washington, DC — The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) supports Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. Each March, the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities (NACDD) and their partners work together to create a social media campaign that highlights the many ways in which people with and without disabilities come together to form strong, diverse communities. NACDD has put together a resource guide for the campaign.
“We are proud to support persons with disabilities and their families not just during Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, but year-round. There are many legal issues that we as NAELA member attorneys can help them navigate,” said NAELA President Wendy Cappelletto, Esq., CAP.
