About the Practice
Bridget O'Brien Swartz, Vice President & Fiduciary Counsel, came to Mission Management & Trust Co after practicing law for over 25 years with a primary focus on special needs law. At Mission Trust, Bridget is spearheading the expansion and development of trust services beyond the traditional offerings to also include settlement planning, qualified settlement funds, special needs trusts, settlement preservation trusts, and conservatorships throughout Arizona.

Bridget has been actively involved with NAELA, currently as an Officer, and the Special Needs Alliance. She is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).

Bridget obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame before matriculating to Arizona State University (ASU), where she earned both her law degree at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law and Master's in Public Administration. She currently is Adjunct Faculty at the law programs at both ASU and Stetson University.

Bridget O'Brien Swartz, is Vice President & Fiduciary Counsel at Mission Management & Trust Co. Previously, she practiced law, most recently serving as Senior Counsel at the firm of Dyer, Bregman & Ferris, in Phoenix. Mission provides trust & estate services, asset management, and securities custody. Bridget is facilitating the expansion of its footprint in Arizona and developing trust services beyond the traditional to include settlement planning and related trusts such as qualified settlement funds, special needs, and settlement preservation trusts. She is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. In addition to her leadership roles at NAELA, she is involved with the Special Needs Alliance (former President), and Catholic Community Foundation’s Professional Advisory Board. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Notre Dame, law degree and master’s in public administration from Arizona State University.
