NAELA Partners and Coalitions

NAELA participates in coalitions that advocate on a wide range of issues affecting older adults and individuals with disabilities — before Congress, regulators, and the courts. Our coalition advocacy is informed by our public policy guidelines.

Consortium for Constituents with Disabilities
The largest coalition of national organizations working together to advocate for federal public policy that ensures the self-determination, independence, empowerment, integration, and inclusion of children and adults with disabilities in all aspects of society.

Disability & Aging Collaborative
A coalition of approximately 40 national organizations that work together to advance long-term services and support policy at the federal level. Formed in 2009, the DAC was one of the first coordinated efforts to bring together disability and aging organizations.

Elder Justice Coalition
A nonpartisan coalition of 3,000 members spanning all generations. Comprised of individuals and organizations, the coalition is a resource to Congress, the Administration, media, and the general public to raise awareness of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation and help develop and advocate for national policies to end this crisis.

Leadership Council of Aging Organizations
A coalition of 68 prominent national aging advocacy organizations that represent millions of older Americans. Together, coalition members work to preserve and strengthen the well-being of America’s older population.

National Guardianship Network
A collaborative group of national organizations dedicated to effective adult guardianship law and practice. First convened in 2002, NGN has played a leadership role in advancing guardianship standards, best practices, and education.
