Recognizing the critical impact on older adults and individuals with disabilities, NAELA submitted a Statement for the Record to the Senate Special Committee on Aging in strong support of funding for home and community-based services (HCBS). NAELA warned that funding cuts could restrict access, increase institutionalizations, and drive up overall Medicaid spending, and called on policymakers to preserve these vital services.
